| Intermittent payroll attendance consists of hourly rate
employees. Paychecks are prepared after the close of the pay period and
are based on actual time worked. Use of leave credits are recorded on the Absence and Additional Time Worked forms (634) and overtime is recorded on Authorization for Extra Hours form (682). Both are submitted to timekeepers at the end of each pay period. Pay Frequency Pay days are the 15th of the month following the previous pay period. If the 15th falls on a Saturday, pay day will be on the 14th of the month. If the 15th falls on the a Sunday, pay day will be on the 16th.General Procedures Actual time worked must be reported on an Intermittent/Hourly Voucher. Indicate the number of hours worked per day and total at the bottom.Leave Credits Vacation - On the first day of the monthly pay period following the completion of 160 hours of paid employment (time worked in the current and prior pay periods) and hourly employee shall be credited with one qualifying pay period credit of vacation. Sick Leave - After the completion of 160 hours of paid employment within consecutive pay periods, the employee is credited with one day of sick leave. One day of sick leave is given for each additional hours of pay employment. Sick leave credit is given the first day of the pay period following the completion of the required hours. Hours worked in excess of 160 hours in a pay period are not counted or accumulated for sick leave purposes. |
